My Mother Diagnosed With Stenosis Of The Spine

My mother is 85 years old. She has been diagnosed with stenosis of the spine. She has been in and out of the hospital the past 2 years. What do i do when she tells myself and my other siblings that she wishes God would take her? I really am worried she is wanting to give up now. She just got out of the rehab about a week ago and she is hurting really bad. We brought her home so we can take care of her, we are afraid to put her in a nursing home, because then i know that she really will give up. What can we do to make her comfortable. No one really has told us if she can die with this diagnosis. Can she? YB

Aww that's really sad :( Just let her know you love her and that you want her to stick around for a while. Try doing something fun with her and your kids, if you have any. I'd reccomend cooking or something. Try making some crazy meals (: That'd make me happy.
