I have an eight year I have an eight year old granddaughter who has chronic constipation. There is a lot of stress in her home. She has a bm about once a week. Her colon is stretched do to the very large BMs. Lately she has been complaining of increased pain. She has no appetite. She has taken miralax. Mother does not give her stool softeners or anything that would be helpful on a regular basis. My granddaughter has had this problem since the age of one. She is fatigued also. I believe it is the stress but was wondering if she could have developed a twisted bowel?
