I have a son in law who supposedly had a seizure. I was not here during the seizing, but was here after. I don t think he had a seizure, I think it was a TIA. He passed out and hit his head very hard on the way down. He vomited at least 8 times. He still could not talk 45 minutes after the episode and tried passing back out 4 times. We had to fight very hard to keep him awake. We took him to the hospital and they did an EKG on him and an Xray, but found nothing. How do I convince the doctor to look away from it being a seizure and point him toward it being a TIA

I am a 45 year old woman and have received a letter this morning telling me my cholesterol is 9.1, my blood pressure is good and I m a non-smoker. My father had 5 major strokes from the age of 46, my mother had a TIA at around the age of 65 and my paternal grandmother had strokes. I am very worried. Will my arteries be badly clogged already? is it too late to sort things out?

My father-n-law had a TIA and was diagnosed with A-fib. He had a cardio conversion and is now on a Pradaxa, Crestor, and Benicar. Whenever he does any moderate to strenuous activity his blood pressure bottoms out. Yesterday he was 86/43, he is 6ft 6in and 240lbs. His doctors dont have an answer on why this happens. Please help.
