Irregular Periods Due To Bulky Uterus.

Hello, I need your clarification regarding my sister's scan report. she is 25 years old. she is unmarried. she has a problem like irregular periods. Last month, she got her periods and it didn't stop for 20 days. now and then she is getting bleed. so, she did some ultrasound. the result says that she has a bulky uterus about 10.1 x 5.8 cms and endometrium thickening about 28.1 mm. is it dangerous? please clarify me.... thanks in advance!!

Hi.. It may be because of hormones.. The sex hormones act on the uterus and the endometrium causing the proliferation and increase in the size.. She may need hormone analysis by tests.. Consult your doctor and decide on doing those tests if needed..
