i have a 10 yr grandson that had a small amount of blood in his urine stream last night and he admitted he had been hurting as he begins to urinate and after for a bit. the urine was cloudy. we immediately began pushing water and by this morning the urine was better. no evidence of blood by the eye and urine not as cloudy. over the period of a few hours today and continuing to drink lots of water, his urine is almost clear. do you think we caught a UTI in time and that if we continue to flush his kidneys and bladder with fluids he will clear up? or do we need to see his pediatrician?
