I Had Cataract Surgery On My Right Eye June 2015.

i had cataract surgery on my right eye June 2015. Ever since the surgery, i have an occasional and very annoying twitching in the eyeball sensation. It is accompanied by light flashes, like a strobe light. It seems to happen a little less often, but it still happens daily. My dr. said it is impossible for your eyeball to twitch, but yet it does. Maybe it's more of a spasm? Is that possible? Please help me understand what is going on. I am 50 yrs. old - female. I will need to have the other eye done in a year or so.
