I have a lump under a bruise on my left breast and i don t know how the bruise got there. i have no memory of injury myself but, i didn t see the bruise until it had already started to fade. it s amazing to me because my bath tub, which i use daily, has huge mirrors around it so, how did i not notice the bruise when it was fresher and darker..and, how did my husband not notice it? it s above where the areola starts. the lump is a little larger than a pea, hard, doesn t move, and that breast feels kinda achy when i move around and, the nipple feels a little like it does when i m pregnant...just more sensitive. i do self breast exams fairly regularly and if i had to guess when the last one i did was, i d say right before christmas so, a couple of months ago and, i didn t feel this lump. it s very obvious so, i don t think it was there then. i m a 46yr old Mom of 4 and, i nursed 3 of my babies. i thought that kinda helped rule me out as far as breast cancer is concerned. no med history on my Mom s side (she s adopted) and, on my father s, he has 2 sisters who had aggressive forms of breast cancer. one lived, the other didn t and, the one who did live had a double mastectomy . i look and i m built like the one who lived. don t know if that matters or not. i m freaking out.. i m going to the doctor tomorrow.. just thought if someone was online who could keep me from a total meltdown, that d be great.

I have an excruciating pain under my right breast and somewhat to the right corresponding side. It comes and goes but hurts so bad I have to hunch over and sometimes the pain makes me vomit. My doctor said it was a spasm and to drink more water and take potassium. Had it for about 3 years and it gets progressively worse. What could be causing this? My husband thinks its back related?

My husband has moderate to severe pain under his left shoulder a little towards the right. This has been going on for approximately 3 months. It is some what swollen and is also tender to the touch. Motrin 800 takes the edge off the pain, cold compresses do not help but heat seems to give him some relief. He has seen a physician and was given muscle relaxers and narcotic pain medication that really just puts him to sleep. He also has taken steroids which did seem to help him. It is also important to note that on December 5, 2014 he was diagnosed with breast cancer in his right breast and is scheduled for surgery this Thursday 1/22/15. Pet scan, CT scan, MRI, Ultrasound have all been negative for any cancer in the area where he is experiencing the pain in his back. What are your thoughts? Y. Williams

Hi, i have a problem with acid reflux, it has recently ruined my holiday and i had to take a week off work once i had come back because of the reacurenses that happened, i have also just had to take today and yesterday of work because of it. I start to burp but it smells very eggy but alot more discusting and i cant do anything but lie down once i have it. It will not go untill i have been to sleep for a proper nights sleep and sometimes it carrys onto the next day. The most recent occurance i has it yesterday and i have been ok today, but i suffer with very bad cramps in my stomach until i lie down sometimes before the burping or after, but not together. It really is getting me down and i have been prescribed medication called omeprazole but i am very worried it will come back soon and possibly over christmas, as there is no guarentee this will work. I was taking laparazole and that hasnt worked. I have stopped having fizzy drinks as at first this was thought of what was making it occur but i havent had any fizzy drinks and it has still came back. Is there anything more i can do, like have a test or a scan to make sure this isnt anything more serious which my doctors are missing?

Hi there,
I have been Burping up Egg Tasting/Smelling Burps since Sunday. On Monday, I felt like I had heaps of wind, was fluffing, and burping all night. This then went away. I have recently started burping again, and it has started to taste like eggs. Is this a sign of early pregnancy?

Hey, Hope you are well. I have excessive belching which smells and tastes of Sulpher. Also black stools, and pain in lower left abdomen (which also radiates through to my back). Can you please advise of the cause of these complaints. I suspect, perhaps, a bleeding ulcer? Grateful Thanks, Davie.
