How To Treat Knee Bruise Post Injury?

i just got out of tumbling class, for cheer, and while i was tumbling i hit my knee and it really hurt to were it kind of fell asleep and i couldn t move it. The next day i got a big baseball looking bruise around the bottom of my knee, it hurts to bend it, and the top right muscle hurts.close to the tendon Should i see a Doctor?

Thanks for your query.

Since the bruise around your knee is painful, a bone injury is likely. You need to get an X-ray of the area done. MRI is the best investigation to diagnose the internal knee joint structures injury. Till then avoid weight bearing on the knee and keep the leg elevated on two pillows.
