Hi Im Currently Being Treated For A Lisfranc Injury In

hi im currently being treated for a lisfranc injury in my left foot non operative ,short leg walking cast and crutches minimum weight bearing ive been going through this for over a year my last dr kept taking my cast off to soon id just start to get so i could put weight on it some and he took my cast off i told him it wasnt healed he said can't keep that cast on forever well 2 weeks later it was worse than it was to start whats the meaning of insane yup doing the same thing over and over expecting a different outcome ! we went throufgh that same ruitine for a year now im seeing a different dr and his cast techs are giving me a hard time because the swelling keeps going down making my cast to loose it was so loose i could put my hand down inside my cast and scratch my ankle the tech says i think it will be ok i said it isnt doing anything with it being this loose now 3 days later its loose again i need it changed but i dont want the hassle im thinking about getting my son to put a new cast on for me he cant do any worse of a job and he will listen to me what else should i do? ive tried everything else! ok thats that foot now because ive put all of my weight on my right foot for so long the plantar fasciitis in it is so bad i cant stand to put weight on it for more than 5 mins and im ready to cry because the pain is so bad what is a good treatment option i should talk to my dr about im already using orthotics they make no difference i was a paratrooper with many many jumps i have fallen arches my feet have an arch but its going the wrong way lol ill be completely cripple if i keep being treated around here in maine we have terrible drs up here they wont listen to anything i have to say and im not self diagnosing either any help would be appretiated ty richard sanborn spc4 us army retired
