My mom has this. Very serious form of cancer, she has had it 4 times in 5 years. Surgery is often the answer but is highly agressive and may need radation and chemo... Cancer comes back, and no dr's seem to know a lot about it... it's scary

I had a clear cell sarcoma tumor removed from my small intestine 2 yrs, 8 mths ago. Recently cat scans showed 6 small masses that weren t there in last scans from 7 mths ago. Boipsy was on Mon. waiting from results, but assuming they are likely malignant as in same general area as last tumor. I think they may be in the peritoneal cavity this time. I am having a hard time finding ANY information on this type of cancer, in this location..... ie; Treatment, medication, protocol, etc. Can you share any insight?

Hi. My mom is 71 years old. She has been diagnosed with Layomyo Sarcoma in 2008. She had a tumour removed that was growing outside the colon then. In 2010 after a CT scan showed mets to the liver and lungs, she had surgery again. Six tumors were removed from the liver and 11 leighsions remained in the lungs. She had 12 chemotherapy sessions. July 2012 after another scan I was told that treatment was not effective and she will be treated symptomatic from then on. In January this year a large tumour was removed from her back but the results showed incomplete . Currently my mom is experiencing the following: swollen neck, abdomen, right foot. She only experience pain now and then - not sure if she is hiding anything- She sometimes have pain in her neck, shoulders, feet and hands. her complextion is slightly darker, constipation and tiredness. However she still do most things by herself. She stays with me. Her GP is very vague and not very forthcoming with information, which frustrates me. Hospice does regular checkups. All I want to know is what to expect and how long my mom has to live. It seems she does not understand what s happening to her. Many thanks Gaironese

Hi, I was given this report from a HSG test. Could you please tell me what this means? etro flexed uterine cavity, normal patency and contrast spill into the peritoneum left was demonstrated, faint whisp of contrast was seen in the proximal right fallopian tube. Contrast was not confidently identified beyond this. No definite contrast spill was seen on the right side of the pelvic perenial cavity.Left fallopian tube faint contrast line outlining the proximal right fallopian tube was seen but no contrast opacifleation beyond this. No definite spill of contrast into the peritoneum on the right side was demonstrated and therefore right tubal patency cannot be confirmed
