Some people believe that both the Aspartame and Caffeine can cause problems like this however it has never been proven. One thing I can and will tell you is that if you overdose on caffeine meaning well over 300mg depending on the size and tolerance the body has, it can cause arrhythmias such as different types of tachycardia and even ventricular fibrillation. Let's be realistic though unless your chugging coffee and I mean 20 cups or so fairly fast this isn't an easy thing to accomplish.

hello, my name is Trent and i am a 34-year-old, slightly overweight (around 50lbs over BMI scale for my height) male police officer. for the last 2 years, ive been dealing with ventricular bigeminy/trigeminy as well as extremely frequent PVC s, tachycardia and the occassionally supraventricular tachycardia. at times the chest pains have been so bad i have passed out and hit the floor. i have not been able to work since january 2010. i have been hospitalized for these symptoms 6 times in the last year and half. i have been through 2 cardiac ablations and have been tried on metoprolol, soltalol, amiodarone, dronedarone, and 3 other antiarrythmics that i cannot remember the names of. neither ablation worked, and the second one caused more damage then good. prior to the second ablation (march 2011), my ejection fraction was 45% and there was mild diffuse hypokinesia in the left ventricle. after the second, ejection fraction dropped to 38% and there was moderate global hypokinesia of the left ventricular segments. structural disease was ruled out in 2010 by angiography and echocardiograms as well as a cardiac MRI. so far, none of the 5 cardiologists i have seen have been able to isolate the cause of all of my symptoms. my biological father had a pacemaker implanted at age 35 after he suffered an MI. i believe he was diagnosed with sick sinus syndrome. i have inquired into the possibilty of having SSS myself, but again, no one has confirmed or disproved this. since the failure of the ablations as well as the failure of antiarrythmics, the cardiologists that i have seen have told me there are no further treatment optins other then a 3rd ablation. having been through 2 already, i am definetly not eager to go for a 3rd. am i candidate for a pacemaker or ICD type device? and what is causing all of this? i shoud mention that cardiomyopathy was originally suspected, but again, not ruled out or confirmed. i was drinking alcohol on a regular basis up until november, and have not touched a drop since. any advice you could give me would greatly appreciated! i am extremely eager to have my condition treated and get back to work!! thank you for your time, trent a c wright.

A friend of mine in the last nine months is talking more about herself, her family. Never asks how I or anyone is doing. Gives orders that she expects me to do over her doing them. Anything that she talks about is always right. Put up with it for years as we always had fun but it has gotten worse. Reminds me of someone being on diet pills. Lost her husband 27 years ago and still having a hard time. I try not to talk about my husband. Does have a heart problem. I have helped her a lot with various things but that does not seem to be appreciated. Any suggestion as we are not even talking. She is also negative and will talk about others me to others and talks to me about others. All negative.

Hi. I took a 15 mg adderall (not prescribed) to study at around 10 am. At around 7-8pm, I smoked cannibas (also not prescribed). A few moments later I began to feel very dizzy, and my heart beat was extremely fast. I then felt pressure and dizziness, but not an excruciating pain to my chest. After that my body was becoming cold, starting with my hands and eventually shivering. I took a hot shower and tried to keep warm and just went to sleep after it calmed down a bit. Today my heartbeat seems "normal" but i still feel lightheaded somewhat and I'm concerned. Did I have a heart attack?

The left side of my chest and armpit, aswell as my left arm has been hurting alot. i have had a tight pressure on my heart for a week and a half now. i feel as if i am having the beginning stages of a heart attack and have small panic attacks before SOMETIMES calming myself down. I have smoked and eaten weed for 3 years now and enjoy it alot, it makes me calm in my current life situations but every time i eat or smoke it the pain increases tenfold and my heart beat becomes extremely irregular. I would appreciate advice from an experienced doctor on if it is physiological, something to do with my pigeon chest or because of smoking, maybe a combination.
I am 18 and appreciate your attention.
