Have a glass of pomegranete juice in emprty stomach in morning, or have warm glass of water with lemon juice in it. Include garlic in your diet, it helps to lower cholesterol. Also you can get a personalised diet chart and fitness program to fight your condition. I got one done for diabetes and hypertension for my mother from this website. Now she is fine with strictly following the deit plan and fitness regime, her sugars and BP both are in control. The treatinh doctor has reduced teh medication doseges also after seeing her progress.

The total cholesterol, LDL and HDL levels are very important. You don't have to stop eating oil completely. Use the right oils in moderation. eat a high fibre diet as well that will slow down and reduce cholesterol absorbtion it is better you avoid ground nuts
