definately not no google the words........... deep vein thrombosis and massage copied and pasted a bit for you Leg exercises are important to prevent pooling of blood in the legs. If you have had major surgery, walking as soon as possible after the surgery will help lower your risk of having DVT. If you are unable to exercise, ask your health care provider if you should have someone massage your lower legs and move your legs through some range-of-motion exercises. If you are currently being treated for DVT, do not massage your legs as the clot may break loose.

Hi I m a 42 year old female had a DVT 2 and half years ago I felt it took that long to recover .may this year took a long haul flight .five days in started feeling unwell felt all my veins where agrivated I felt like I was very heavily pregnant .have not been able to sleep on my right hand side (that s where the clot was) since the holiday or sleep on my stomach.it feels like my blood supply is being cut off.went to a&e twice tested for blood clot .no clot have had a scan on veins and my blood must be finding other ways .i feel like the doctor who I went to see for results was in a rush did not know my case said I did not have anything wrong with my. Circulation that s not what it feels like my right side of my body goes numb when I lay on side or stomach along with the flow of blood feels awful .my DVT started after I had a termination at around 8weeks was not even put to sleep was jus sucked out so don t think it was surgery .I have three children .had a termination twenty years ago
