Can Anesthesia In Surgery Cause Insomnia ?

Is there a correlation between general anthesia and insomnia . I ve had 2 major surgeries (both under general anthesia) in the past 3 weeks. I also have bipolar and fear I am becoming manic from lack of sleep.

One at a time with some lucid interval in between free of the disease. Propofol and Ketamine anaesthetics is known to induce mania in very rare instances.
