Can A Boil Be A Symptom Of Leukemia?
im maribel a mother of a 2 yr. Old daughter diagnosed last nov.8 as a leukemic patient, can a boil be a symptom of leukemia? My daughter had a boil 2 mos before she was diagnosd,and the boil seemed like a hole as cotton balls can be kept. Please give us answer asap because she's nom suffering from the side effet of chemo.

Dear Maribel , boil can be one sign of leukemia. Leukemic patient are prone to develop infection so boils are not healed and can increase in size. Not all boils are leukemia. For diagnosing a leukemia peripheral blood film with complete blood count is first and very important investigation.
