Pain In Lower Abdomen, Starts From Penis. U/S Shows Few Tiny Reflective Foci Seen Floating In Urinary Bladder. What Does It Mean?

hi doctor, Since last three months back i have pain in my lower abdomen . start from penis & route to right egg & goes up to right lower portion of Back. I consulted & did ultrasound , in Report it mentioned Few tiny Reflective foci are seen floating in urinary bladder lumen. What does it mean? I taken some antibiotic as instructed by Dr. But still i have pain in My Penis. I am feeling pain while passing the urine. Please advice what to do & let me know what exactly happened to me?

Thanks for posting,
Your U/S report is suggestive of either a bladder stone or UTI. I suggest you get a urine analysis + culture to first determine if there is an active bacteria infection then find the drug of choice to eradicate the germs with an antibiotics sensitivity test done during the culture. Also possible that the reflective foci could be parasitic, protozoal or funga infection (so culture will detect either of them). If culture is sterile as it might occur ( as per your description), I suggest you see a urologist who is able to better manage your bladder stone. I suggest you complete the antibiotics and also include the treatment antispasmodic medication and/or pain killers to manage the symptoms ( abdominal pain).
