after a patient had a stroke he was put on

after a patient had a stroke he was put on the vent. he was able move his left side. He then had cardiac arrest he is not moving at all. He now opens his eyes and he goes back to sleep. if you touch his face he responds. He bats his eyes and fround. He now cry. Is it possible for him to regain the strength that he had on his left side.

My mother is a diabetic patient since 5-6 years. She is 75 years old and residing in kerala. She is on regular medication for diabetes. The physician referred her to a neuro and he has prescribes a tablet. He said she has a clot in her brain.
