Xray Shows Residual Ptb Scar. Completed My Treatment. Feel Hurting Chest. Threw Out Blood. Should I Be Worried About The Findings?

my x-ray impression is "Consider residual ptb scar, left upper lobe. Please correlate clinically if anti koch's medications has already compeleted."

yes, I already completed my treatment about a year ago but yesterday, I woke up during afternoon nap feeling my chest hurt (left part) then suddenly I cough and threw out blood w/o phlegm. What might my symptoms be?

Hi
Scars are usual after treatment. After a proper treatment and follow up you should be safe except some lung problems due to scarring.Better do a sputum AFB test and be on safe side.It can be a usual bacterial infection as well.If its that antibiotics and supportives will help.Hope this may help you.
Thanks
