Wrist Injury, Discomfort While Clenching Fingers

Hi, Earlier I damaged my wrist doing a silly exercise. I banged it down hard on a flat surface. I hit the area below my wrist on the edge of the table. Now I m having some trouble with it. I have googled it and can t find a suitable fit for the problem. The best way to describe it is as such: I can clench my fingers and extend them normally but while doing either of these the bone below and palm of the wrist feels funny. As I said I am able to clench and extend the fingers with a small amount of difficulty. I m also able to bend the wrist to 90 degrees by itself if I hold it upright, and I am also able to bend it forward to 90 degrees. What is significant is that if I hold my left hand down on the table, and then bend my arm 90 degrees while holding it flat, it does so fine. When I try to do this with my right hand, I can t move the arm all the way forward (about 45 degrees). Any insight welcome.

Hello.
Thanks for posting your query.

According to description, it seems you might having ligament injury/ triangular fibrocartilage complex ligament tear.

I suggest you to consult an orthopaedician nearby for a detailed examination. You may get the X-ray/ MRI of the area affected under his/her guidance.
