Hi, my husband was hit by a car on the 18th november 2012 and broke his right wrist and right humous. The humous was a clean break. The surgen at the hospital decided not to operate but at the 2 week checkup they discovered that the bone had dropped from being 1.4cm apart to over 2.5. He was then told to lean on the elbow to push the bone back up which was very painfull. This has worked but at the last xray 2 weeks ago the bone still wasent together and had not started to calsafie. How long should we wait to get a second opinion as we have read it shouldnt be taking this long to heal.
