Would There Be A Reaction Between The Drug, Concentra, And The Numbing Agent Used In Dental Procedures?

Today I took an 18mg Concentra, with prescription, and went to the dentist an hour later and got two fillings without mentioning the medication. He used a numbing agent and all, but I am wondering if there might have been a conflict between the two drugs. This is the first time I have ever taken a stimulant and it did not have any effect on me and I feel as though the appointment with the dentist was the reason.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi there,

Thanks for your query.

Just relax: there is no appreciable interaction between local anesthetics and concentra.

However, I would strongly advise you- in future- to tell the doctor about the medications that you are on or, any drug taken prior to consultation. This small step can SAVE YOUR LIFE.

If you find my response helpful and informative, do not forget an “excellent” (5-star rating) to my answer, to ENCOURAGE all doctors- engaged in social service- to render sound advice to the FREE queries.

Fond regards and have a nice day
