Would The Oxygen Machine Helps To Maintain The Oxygen Levels For A Patient Suffering With Asthma And COPD?

my wife is 62 years old she has a history of asmah and COPD she smokes also she use oxygen when needed now here oxygen level drops when she gets of the machine from 96% to 87% after she s off it for 10 minutes or so the machine is set on 2 would it help to increase it

Yes, Long term Oxygen therapy is especially indicated in COPD patients who fail to maintain normal oxygen saturation or have features of heart failure. Oxygen concentrators are used for this purpose.
