Dear madam i can understand your concern
There is hardly any relationship between hair loss and metformin.
Any acute health condition may cause hair loss but usually recovers within three months.
pls observe your hair loss pattern if its more than hundred per day i guess its not correct and yo may need to meet a dermatologist.
if the hair loss is below hundred per day the its normal
check for haemoglobin(low haemoglobin) it may be one of the reason for hair loss
high dose of steroid can also cause hair loss
Best Regards.
