Hi and welcome to healthcare magic.
I understand your issue. The basic problem with
PCOS is non ovulation meaning that the female egg does not get released from the ovary. Normally during one menstrual cycle, one egg is produced and released around day 14 in a 28 days cycle. In PCOS the egg does not mature and does not get released due to local or systemic
hormonal imbalances.
You will need assistance with fertility if you are having
anovulation. Also the fallopian tubes transport the eggs and sometimes they are blocked. So it needs to be checked if they are open in your case.
I suggest that you contact an
infertility specialist and do an ovulation study. A laproscopy will also be needed to check if the tubes are open and puncture any cysts in the ovary. This usually solves the problem. Some drugs like
clomiphene may also be needed to induce ovulation. All this will be decided by the treating doctor after examination and follow up of previous response to therapy.
So please do not worry. This is a common and treatable problem. You will conceive soon with treatment.
Thanks for using HCm and best of luck.
