Would Contraceptive Pills Cause Weight Gain?

Hi,
I've had 6 months of prostap treatment for stage 4 endometriosis. I have also gained 5kg's of weight. I am due to start the contraceptive pill continuously for a further 6 months. Is this going to keep my weight up still or will it decline because I am stopping prostap treatment?

I really appreciate your concern, as long as the question of contraceptive pill is concern this is hormone preparation this could cause the weight gain in very extreme gynecological condition this is to be taken otherwise better to avoid it, the weight gain is not the only side effect this drug have got but other side effects ate also there, hope this information helps you, take care and have nice day.
