Would Siphene Cause Side Effects After Long Term Use?

Hi Doctor I have PCOD, though i had my periods every month but the cycle varied from 30-40 days. Am trying to conceive since last six months. I was prescription Siphene 100 since February this year and am taking it every cycle. Though I get my periods but it only last for 2-3 days and have blood clots. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

From your description, I am of the opinion that Siphene ( Clomifene citrate) does not cause any such side effects as infertility. In contrast, it is used for treating infertility.

Other symptoms that you are having are quite normal. So you need now be worried.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
