As per your clinical presentation and your symptoms you can rest assure that its not dry socket.
as you have extracted your wisdom teeth it sometimes needs a bit invasive method to pull them out depending on their angulated position and how deep inside the bone is the impacted tooth present.
saying that there are few other reasons that includes there can be a root stump left; this can be confirmed by an intra oral radiograph...it can also happen during the procedure your mandibular nerve was hurt; well it can only stand true when all other reason for your pain is eliminated,now cure for nerve injury totally depends on the degree of the injury, as per your case if this reason holds correct then it will take 3-5 months to recover completely.
to overcome the pain have an analgesuc for 3 days and if it doesn subside then visit to your treated dentist and do the radiograph.

The flap may be formed due to tearing of gums during tooth extraction.

Pain at the site of extraction socket usually occurs due to dry socket formation.

Take amoxycillin along with muscle relaxants.

Gargle frequently with warm saline.

Dressing the socket with ZOE may be helpful.

YOU HAVE TO TAKE CARE THAT, AT THE SITE OF EXTRACTION, THERE SHOULD NOT BE FOOD ACCUMULATION , IT CAN WORSEN THE SITUATION.
DO GARGLE WITH WARM WATER AFTER EVERY MEAL

Removal of wisdom teeth is required when it is partially or completely impacted inside the jaw bone. Due to the impaction of the crown portion of the teeth inside the bone, there will be requirement of bone trimming during the surgical removal and the amount of bone trimming depends on how much it is impacted and the anatomy of the teeth. This will be one of reason that you are experiencing more pain in lower left area of extraction as there might be more bone trimming than the others. Since there will be persistent inflammation after the surgical removal, there will be swelling of the extraction site which includes the flap. Combination of antibiotic with the pain killer will take its course of time to reduce the inflammation. So chances of dry socket is less.
I would advice you to continue the combination of antibiotic and pain killer course along with salt water gargling. If you feel discomfort even after your antibiotic course or even after a week , I would suggest you to consult your dentist for clinical examination.
