Hi there! Welcome to HCM!

After going through your question, I am of the opinion that:

1) An 8.2 cm fibroid can definitely create problems in pregnancy.

2) Fibroids of this size can cause infertility, miscarriage, pre-term labour, placenta praevia, post partum haemorrhage or fetal malpresentations.

3) My suggestion is that you get a laparoscopic myomectomy done and get the fibroid removed.

4) After myomectomy, you can try to get pregnant again within 3 months.

I hope my answer was helpful.

Regards,

Dr. Shikha Shah, OBGYN
