Will Undergoing Cardiac Stress Test Affect Fertility?

Hi. I'm a 30yr old male going for a cardiac stress test in which they will inject radiation into my body. The test is 2 days and I'll be injected each day. My question is my wife and I are planning on getting pregnant. Will this test effect the safety of my future kids or wife?

HI,welcome to HCM.
Cardiac stress test is not known to affect your fertility under any circumstances.Even though a dye is injected for study,it will not hamper any of the organ systems as the action of the dye is short lived and is removed from the body in a week's time. The dye will not affect your testicles in any way.consult your cardiologist for further queries.
Thank you
