Will Thyroid Affect Pregnancy?

hii..
i am a 31 year old married woman. i got married just a couple of months back.. i am diagnosed Hypothyroid. Observed values in my report are T3:-75, T4:- 4.99 & T.S.H.:- 20.51 that is not normal (TSH). Doctor has prescribed Thyronorm 25mg. for a month. i wanted to know whether thyroid will affect on my pregnancy as me n my husband both are planning for a baby..

Welcome and thank you for asking!
Your TSH value is high and it might be a cause for infertility or affect the outcome of pregnancy and the baby development.
Prior to try to conceive you have to correct the TSH level, the actual dose (25 mcg) is low, you should take at least 50 mcg, in the morning and for 1 hour not to eat and drink anything.
After 6 weeks you should check the TSH and if it within the normal ranges (Once you have a positive pregnancy test you should raise the dose by 30% of pre pregnancy dose. During pregnancy TSH should be monitored every 4 weeks.
