Will There Be Any Withdrawal Effects After Reducing Mirtaz From 15 Mg To 7.5 Mg ?
hello sir; hope you are very well; i tried to ask the question through the proper website but the service has slowed down; it takes long time for transaction to be registerd. Sir, i have reduced mirtaz from 15 mg to 7.5 mg -- 3 day today and 2 more days to go; and to stop it ; as suggested by you, sir. can i feel any withrawl after that or any symptomm; if there are any possibilities ; should i reduce , 10 mg for 5 days ; 7,5 mg for 5 days .. kindly suggest Sir
Individual results vary on this. There can be plain withdrawal from lowering anti-depressants. However, it is much more common for the depression and/or the anxiety to just come back.
Cannot say in your particular case, and without an exam, I can only give general information. This should not have included specific recommendations to lower or stop a medication without someone actually seeing you. I would not do that. Furthermore, continuing with a course of action without the observation and advise of a doctor directly in the room is not a good idea and I would not recommend it.
So, generally, I can say that mirtaz is safe, does not have serious withdrawal but lowering it often returns the depression/anxiety and advise that this should be done only under direct doctor supervision.
