Will Taking Zpak Causes Sinus Infection?

I am day 2 after a 5 day stint on zpak. I am still lethargic, stuffy and have been running a low grade fever at night then sweating. Also my calfs ache. My Dr. ordered another antibiotic but I am wary of taking it. I have been ill three weeks and took the zpak because we believe it turned into sinus infection...

Hi,

About 1 in 3 strep infections are resistant to z pack and several other bacteria are totally resistant. It isn't the first choice. An untreated sinus infection would be associated with increasing sinus symptoms and increased fever.
