Will Taking Medication Be Shown In The Blood Test?
Hi, I am prescribed Percocet and was arrested for a dui. it's a long story but I would like to know if I take the drug prescribed 3 times a day and I was stopped on the 9th day of jan. what will come up in my blood test? Will it show all of the medication which I know will still be in my system. I am leary of blood tests due to the research I have done and some people come back with too much in their system when in fact they did not take that much.
Hi and thank you so much for trusting us with your health query.
I am so sorry to hear about this disturbing thoughts about percocet. This drug would be able to be seen in the system if it is barely 9days after taking the last dose. However, it would not be a problem supposed you obtained it legally and it was justified. if you are question on this, then present your medical records and the prescription. There would be no more issues with this. The law has issues with persons who illegally obtain and use it.
I hope you find this helpful. Thank you so much for using our services and please feel free to for more information or clarifications if need be. I wish you the best of health. Dr. Ditah, MD.
