Will Taking Marijuana Affect The Results Of Nuclear Stress Test?

Hi, tomorrow I'm having a nuclear stress test and I'm anxious about it (I have bad anxiety). I find one hit of marijuana helps calm me down just enough if I get very anxious about something and I would like to take one before I sleep tonight. Would that change my results tomorrow?

Hi,

I do not think it will interfere with the results of your test but I would like you to know that your anxiety is most probably due to marijuana. Marijuana is well known to cause anxiety disorders and any temporary relief is sure to be followed by worse symptoms. It is not a good idea for people with anxiety disorders to smoke marijuana.

Best wishes.
