Will Taking Omnycef Help Cure Cold And Cough?
My 12 month old grand daughter has a really bad cold and cough. The doctor prescribed Omnycef, she doesn't seem to be getting any better, and she has sores in her mouth, her gum above her front top teeth is really sore and bleeding at times. Could she have an allergic reaction to this medicine or what else could be making her gums so sore?

Hi...sore and swollen gums can occur with impacted erupting teeth.Also secondary infection of caries teeth can occur. I would advice a detail oral examination
