Will Taking Metformin Help Cure Diabetes?
I have been diabetic for over 10 years and take 1000mg of metformin daily. I have lost a considerable amount of weight from 187lbs down to 139lbs. I cannot seem to keep my sugar from going low. I am constanting checking. What could be causing this ???

Dear sir i can understand your.
tab metformin is a very good drug and its having 36% of prevention rate of diabetes
i in case of low sugars i suggest you to reduce the medication to half dose.
weight loss is known to cause remission of diabetes.
i suggest you to meet treating doc before doing further dose changes
continue active life style
