Will Taking Cipro Help Cure UTI?
Hi. Last month, I had a really bad uti. I was given CIPRO. The pain overall subsided but the burning remained. I also have HSV 2 so I thought maybe the UTI has triggered an outbreak, but they've never lasted this long. I've been to the doctor three times and given HSV meds and pyridium, but the burning is still here. Everything else checks out. I've been tested for all gyn infections including other std's. All negative. Please help!

to empiric antibiotic treatment because in that case there are chances of
developing antibiotic resistance.
*Till then - take plenty of liquids preferably boiled water, coconut water,
home made juices, tea , coffee , butter milk etc.
- maintain your hydration , BP , Blood sugar levels.
- avoid all oily / spicy / nonveg stuffs.
- avoid exposure to excess heat.
- keep genitals clean & dry.
- Cranberry sachets or liquid have fantastic rewards.
