Will Tablet Cyclenorm E & P.coultored Cause Abortion?
hi i am neetu 25 year old.i am worried from pregnenecy between 10 days. And i want to remove or aborsed the pregnenecy.i use tablet before 2days cyclenorm e & p.coultored this tablet aborsed or remove my pregnenecy.this tablet is suggested by medical store .and it is the corse of 3 days.
Cyclenorm is Estrogen and Progesterone preparation. These hormones do not act as abortificient medicines.
Tab. Mifepristone followed by Tab. Misoprostol after 24-48 hours are good medicines for terminating the pregnancy up to 9 weeks of gestation. These medicines are not 'over the counter' medicines. They have to be procured by Obstetrician's prescription and taken under observation.
These medicines can cause developmental abnormalities in baby. Hence, if they fail to abort, the pregnancy should not be continued. It should be terminated by surgical evacuation of the uterus.
I hope this serves the purpose.
