Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Normally, blood from right ventricle enters into the pulmonary artery, gets oxygenated, and enters left atrium, then left ventricle, and then aorta. But these individuals have both pulmonary artery and aorta arises from right ventricle which basically means he is getting less oxygenated blood, which may hinder his growth and development. He may not be able to do any physical activity but surgery is the main treatment which improves his quality of life.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shivtej N
