Will Stopping Effexor Cause Withdrawal Symptoms?
i am going off effexor 37.50 i have taken 37.50 for two weeks and now every other day for two weeks was on 75mg of effexor been going through hell! I am suppose to go on 20 mg. of proxac as soon as i finish effexori i like 1 more week want two stop effecor now and go on proxac will this cause worst withdrawal symptoms

hi, thanks for approaching healthcare magic team. Effexor should not be stopped suddenly. instead decrease the dose from 75 mg to 37.5 mg, every alternate day and then switch over to Prozac. you may have headache, dizziness, nausea and mood changes on sudden stoppage of Effexor. please get back for further queries.
