Hi There

I understand your concern for your health and I would like to tell you that whenever we lie down and relax our body metabolism slows down and due to this the oxygen demand to carry out various metabolic processes also slow down. Due to the decreased oxygen demands heart rate also slows down while resting. As the function of the heart is to pump blood which is full of oxygen so the more you are active the more the heart rate will be.

I wish you good health
