Will Puking Soon After Taking Crocin And Paracetamol Reduce Its Effect?

hi, i took 2 crocin and 2 paracetamol tablets, in a fit of anger, but vomited (by force) immediately afterwards. I dont know if i vomited the tablets or not ( the vomit mostly consisted of what i had for lunch and dinner the night before). Is it ok? Will I be fine?

Hi,

Yes, it may reduce its effect partly. Based on the history you seem to have taken larger doses of paracetamol however within the normal therapeutic doses. Puking will help in removing the un-absorbed medicines from the intestine. There is nothing to worry about it, you will be alright. However, if you experience abdominal pain, vomiting, or weakness you must go the emergency room for further evaluation and treatment.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
