Will Provigil 5000 Iu Injection During Pregnancy Cause Problems To Baby?

Hi,
my wife is pregnant and in 4th week of pregnancy she felt some blood spotting so that time doctors suggect Provigil 5000 Iu , but we hav one question this injection is safe for baby or not... is there any abnormality will devlop in baby due to this injections..

hi provigil 5000 iu is nothing but hcg 5000 iu . sometimes there can be some kind of hormonal deficiency which can cause the patient to bleed or have spotting. to reduce the risk of miscarriage so hormones are supplemented from outside. it's very safe and has no teratogenic side effect on the baby. also take tab dupahston 10 mg twice a day .continue both medicines till 18 weeks . take care and all the best .
