Will Prolonged Use Of Eption 100 Mg Cause Erection Issues?

Sir Iam 42 yrs a male marrid & taking eption 100 mg 3 tabs per day fm lost 11years. So for I dont hv kids & trying. Will ts tab is affecting forgetting kid? Pz advise. Nowadays erection problem also started ts is also by tab ? Pz ans wt to do for my problems regards Venky.

For males, in the very unlikely event you have a painful or prolonged erection lasting 4 or more hours, stop using this drug and seek immediate medical attention, or permanent problems could occur.

Detailed Answer: Eptoin 100 mg contains Phenytoin. Phenytoin is used to prevent and control seizures (also called an anticonvulsant or antiepileptic drug) in epilepsy, seizure occurring during neurosurgery tonic-clonic epilepsy, prevention of seizures following a head injury or surgery, convulsive seizures.

It works by reducing the spread of seizure activity in the brain. This medication is taken by mouth usually 2 or 3 times a day.

Other side effects are: Headache, nausea, vomiting, constipation, dizziness, feeling of spinning, drowsiness, trouble sleeping, or nervousness may occur.

Phenytoin may also cause swelling and bleeding of the gums. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
