Will Probiotic Drinks Help In Reducing IBS Symptoms?

Hi I have many symptoms of IBS....but the bouts of IBS are getting more frequent and causing me to feel really ill a lot of the time, what can I do to relieve this? I don't know what to eat, I have lost a bit of weight but I think only because I don't eat much now. Will probiotic drinks help? Regards Sandra

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Let me inform you that the IBS is more or less a functional kind of disease and these are not the pathological changes so just try to come out of the stress, anxiety, depression, be positive, and no need to be conscious as long as the bowel movements and digestion are concerned. I would suggest trying tab Chlordiazepoxide with Clidinium.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain
