My mum is 32. She smokes and she will have a drink sometimes. She said she woke up in the early hours and felt like she had a red hot poker in the middle of her ribcage. She been her normal self all day although she has felt this red hot poker thing 3 or 4 times. ive said to her to go the hospital or at least ring NHS direct for advice but she wont. our family has history of heart attacks. My mums mum has had 3 or 4 but is still alive and my mums dad died from a heart attack. im really scared Ive already said about heartburn and she said it definitly isnt that. she said its making her feel uncomfortable I really appreciate all your answers - but do you think shes at any risk tonight ? shes in bed now i mean do you think she will be ok .? I know this sounds really morbid but i cant help but think what if I wake up in the morning and she is. : (
