Will Menstrual Bleeding Cease On Intake Of Birth Control Pills?

I have been taken birth control to regulate my periods. I just had a regular cycle period about a week and a half ago. I haven t had a chance to pick up my new pack of birth control and I started to bleed again today. Could I start to take the birth control now, and will that stop the bleeding.

I really appreciate your concern, you are not suppose to continue hormone medicine on your own, if you have some irregular menstrual cycle then underlying cause of this need to be know and for that you have to see the gynecologist, you have not stated your age here because irregular menses could be age related too hope this information helps.
