Will Knee Replacement Surgery Be Helpful For Arthritis In Both Knees?

My mom has severe arthritis in both knees her rtf knee is the worse. Trays show bone on bone. We have tried stem cell therapy 6 months ago with no result. Her pain only increased after the stem cell therapy specifically the rtf knee. She choose stem cell option as did not want to go through knee replacement. In the ensuing months her pain has increased dramatically w h were vocoder was not touching the pain, she was not sleeping, and I am worried she will f all. I did talk h er into seeing a orthopedic surgeon as well as her primary particular to increase her meds for comfort. S he tentatively agreed to rtf knee replacement surgery. Is this treatment something that may help my mom reducing her pain and getting her back to some normal activity. My mom is 80 and is in f fairly good health

Brief answer: YES.. go for it...

Detailed answer:
All conditions in your mothers status are agreeing with knee replacement surgery
They are:
Age.. your mom is 80 and elderly age is good for knee replacement because artificial knee that replaces some life span which is good enough for her age..
At this age she doesnt need much activity.. knee replacement limits some activity which is not problem at this age.. and good news is no pain non sense anymore which is sweetest gift for your mom i think..
Good heath condition which is very important for this major surgery..
So go with orthopedicians suggestions
Hope your mom will be in painless second innings soon..
