Will It Be Possible To Reduce Prolactine And How Many Months Does It Take To Reduce ?

Hi I am having Prolactine of about 775.I am having periods problem from almost 6 - 8 months.Can prolactine be reduced ??? How many months it will take???I am planning to conceive,Since i am married.

Hello,
High prolactin levels cause irregular periods and fertility issues.You will have to be put on drugs like bromocriptine for 3 weeks and levels rechecked.It may take longer to concieve after you periods get regular.

You may also need a MRI to rule of a pituatary tumour as your levels are very high.
