Will Hypothyroidism Cause Health Problems In Future?

Recently i checked my TSH since i feel tiredness often. TSH result is very high 52. My doctor says it is hypothyrodisum.. he suggested me to take Thyronome 50mcg for 3 months.. whether this is very severe..any future problems due to this..Please advise me



My Age is 35. I dont have any health related problems. My father has heart related problems. He had undergone a heart surgery

This isn't something serious unless you monitor your TSH regularly & stay compliant to the medication. This thyroxine tablet you will have to take life long. Once levels are normalized, you need regularly monitoring for a safe thyroxine dose.
